There are many collectables spread throughout the lands of Hogwarts Legacy. Some of these, such as the Landing Platform locations, are completely unlabelled on the map, making them difficult to find. Others, such as the Daedalian Keys and house tokens, require intricate puzzle-solving to acquire. The astronomy tables and their locations in Hogwarts Legacy are quite similar to such collectables.
The tables are spread throughout Hogwarts and the open world. They appear to be like stone structures, and when you approach them, a telescope opens up, allowing you to solve a constellation-related puzzle. Finding and completing all of the constellations grants you XP and cosmetic awards.
Before You Start: Ensure you’ve completed the Main Quest: Astronomy Class; otherwise, you can’t interact with any Astronomy Tables that you discover in the open world.
- There are 15 Astronomy Table Locations in Hogwarts Legacy, and they can all be accessed after completing the Main Quest: Astronomy Class.
- For the most part, the locations are unmarked, but as soon as you get close to any of the Astronomy Tables or are in the general area, they’ll appear on your map.
- At every single Astronomy Table, you need to look through a telescope and align the stars to reveal a unique constellation.
- The Phoenix Constellation can be found in Hogwarts, whereas Centaurus and Draco can be found in San Bakar’s Tower and West Forbidden Forest, respectively.
- In Upper Hogsfield, you’ll find Leo, Scorpio in Forbidden Forest, Capricornus in Keenbridge, and Corvus in Brocburrow.
- There are two tables in Feldcroft Region, one in South Feldcroft for Horologium and other in North Feldcroft for Lacerta.
- The regions beyond Poidsear Coast have Hydra in South Poidsear Coast, Canis Major in Coastal Mine, and Sagittarius in West Manor.
- South Clagmar Coast has the Lupus constellation, and Cragcroft has Cetus.
- You will be rewarded with the Starry-eyed Seer’s Scarf, Ensemble, and Cape for every 5 constellations that you view.
All Astronomy Table Locations
There are a total of 15 Astronomy Tables. You can begin visiting the Astronomy Tables after you’ve completed the Astronomy class as part of the main quests, where you’ll visit one as part of the quest. By then, you would’ve likely completed your Main Quest 19: Flying Class. We recommend that you purchase a broom before you head out to find the Astronomy Tables, as you’ll need to reach different corners of the map, which would be hard to do on foot.
The Astronomy Tables are partially marked on the map. If you’ve explored an area that happens to have the Astronomy Table in the general area, it might appear on your map. However, if you’ve never explored an area, it might be hard to figure out where an Astronomy Table is as the marker will not show up. Therefore, we’ll provide images for the map locations; by getting to the marked areas, you should be able to spot the tables.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that you can only interact with the Astronomy Tables at night. This is quite similar to another collectable known as the Demiguise Statues. If you reach the table and cannot interact with it, you can skip time by entering the map screen. The option will be shown on the bottom right corner of the map.
Hogwarts Astronomy Table Locations
Considering that the class in which we get introduced to the Astronomy Tables is in Hogwarts, one would assume that the first Astronomy Table location that we find in Hogwarts Legacy would be in the castle. However, that is not the case, as you can find a table here yourself.
The Bell Tower Wing – Phoenix

The table will be exactly on the opposite side of the Hidden Herbology Corridor. You can interact with it to unlock the Phoenix constellation. You’ll need to zoom out a bit and rotate slightly clockwise to line up the stars.
North Ford Bog Astronomy Table Locations
There is only one Astronomy Table that can be found in the northern area of the map, North Ford Bog.
San Bakar’s Tower – Centaurus

Forbidden Forest Astronomy Table Locations
Similar to North Ford Bog, there is only one Astronomy Table in the Forbidden Forest as well. It’s deep within the forest and likely requires you to use your broom to find it with ease.
West Forbidden Forest – Draco

Hogsmeade Valley Astronomy Table Locations
Hogsmeade Valley tends to have many collectables as it is quite a large area with multiple settlements. There are many hidden items behind locked doors that require Alohomora, but for our purposes, we’ll only find one Astronomy Table here.
Upper Hogsfield – Leo

South Hogwarts Region Astronomy Table Locations
There are two Astronomy Tables that can be found in the South Hogwarts Region. The first one is automatically unlocked after you complete the Main Quest that introduces you to the Astronomy Table.
Forbidden Forest – Scorpio

Hogwarts Valley Astronomy Table Locations
As Hogwarts Valley is quite a large portion of the map, it’s no surprise that there are two Astronomy Tables that can be found here. In fact, there is quite a strong chance that the tables in the region might be unmarked due to how large it is.
Keenbridge – Capricornus

The marker for the Astronomy Table in the castle is quite stubborn and doesn’t appear easily until you’re right next to it, so you can use the image above as a reference if you can’t pinpoint the location through your own map.

Brocburrow – Corvus

Feldcroft Region Astronomy Table Locations
Feldcroft is the same area where we meet Sebastian Sallow’s sister, Anne, as part of the main quest. In fact, there is even an Astronomy Table quite close to their camp. In total, there are two Astronomy Tables in the area.
South Feldcroft – Horologium

North Feldcroft – Lacerta

Poidsear Coast Astronomy Table Locations
The Poidsear Coast and the regions beyond it are quite tricky to get to if you’re trying to get there by simply exploring on your own. That is because when you try flying to them, you’ll reach a spot that says you cannot use your mount further. Once that happens, you actually need to find a cave opening in between to get to the Poidsear Coast area.
South Poidsear Coast – Hydra

Marunweem Lake Astronomy Table Locations
Marunweem Lake is quite a tricky area as there are many high-levelled hostiles here. If you’re trying to collect the Astronomy Tables as soon as they become available, then try to be careful of the enemies here, as they can take you out with just a few shots.
Coastal Mine – Canis Major

Manor Cape Astronomy Table Locations
Manor Cape is mostly a long island. It doesn’t have that many locations; even the fast travel spots there are limited. But it still has many collectables, such as Demiguise Statues, Infamous Foes, and a bunch of Merlin Trials.
West Manor – Sagittarius

Clagmar Coast Astronomy Table Locations
Clagmar Coast only has one Astronomy Table. It is the southmost area on the map and is at a higher altitude than its surroundings. The main area is Clagmar Castle, and you’ll find the Astronomy Table near that area.
South Clagmar Coast – Lupus

Cragcroftshire Astronomy Table Locations
The final location where you’ll find an Astronomy Table in Hogwarts Legacy is in Cragcroftshire. It is on the southeast edge of the map and has many different collectables to find.
Cragcroft – Cetus

Rewards
After you’ve visited the locations of and aligned the stars for all 15 of the Astronomy Tables in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll be able to claim a bunch of rewards from the Challenges Section. Head to the Challenges section and into the Exploration Challenges to find your rewards. There are different rewards for each tier, and they are as follows:
Tier | Rewards |
Tier 1 (View Constellation from 5 Unique Astronomy Tables) | Starry-eyed Seer’s Scarf |
Tier 2 (View Constellation from 5 Unique Astronomy Tables) | Starry-eyed Seer’s Ensemble |
Tier 3 (View Constellation from 5 Unique Astronomy Tables) | Starry-eyed Seer’s Cape |
These rewards are great and can add value to members of any house in the game. The Astronomy Tables are just a few of the many things that you can do in the game. For example, you can try to collect all of the unforgivable curses, such as Crucio or Imperio, which is acquired through the In The Shadow of Time quest. There are also many explorable easter eggs in the game, such as visiting Azkaban!
With that, you know the locations for every Astronomy Table in the game. They’re spread out across the entire map, so sometimes their marker may not appear, especially if you haven’t uncovered every part of the map. But once you get to the location and align all of the constellations, you’ll get decent amount of XP and worthwhile rewards at the end.
